A new route has been launched by TAP Air Portugal, which will transport travellers from Porto to Boston four times a week. The introduction of this route has strengthened ties between Portugal and the USA while adding to the routes already in place between the two countries.

TAP Air Portugal’s Celebrations of This Milestone
A celebration took place at Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, which was attended by Portugal’s Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Hugo Espírito Santo. TAP Air Portugal’s President, Luís Rodrigues, was also in attendance to celebrate this achievement.
The expansion of routes offered by TAP Air Portugal comes just after the recent formation of their Frequent Flyers Partnership with Etihad Airways.
Luís Rodrigues commented on this milestone for TAP Air Portugal:
“TAP is bringing Porto closer to the rest of the world, favouring the mobility of residents and communities, while capturing and attracting important North American and Brazilian tourist flows to Porto and Northern Portugal. The TAP Group employs 368 workers at its base in Porto and indirectly generates hundreds of jobs in the tourism sector and through our suppliers.”
