What does the partnership signify?

The codeshare partnership between the two airlines signifies a new wave of connectivity and a footprint in both countries. Malaysian passengers have seamless connectivity domestically as well as flights to India where they can explore different places. Same goes for Indian customers who statistically love holidays and will have another area to explore thanks to the great connectivity from the partnership. The expanded travel to such countries is the epitome of connectivity and the access it brings, not just for passengers but also businesses where it expands trade routes and reduces time in shipments. For IndiGo airlines, this increases their international footprint and makes them more expanded henceforth increase turnover, same goes for Malaysian airlines. Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, had a few words to share on the partnership;

We are delighted to embark on this codeshare partnership with IndiGo, recognising the tremendous potential of the Indian market for both leisure and business travel. This collaboration allows us to offer Malaysia Airlines customers greater access to India’s rich cultural and economic landscape, while warmly welcoming IndiGo passengers to experience the unique charm of Malaysian Hospitality.

With these new partnerships, this creates a better environment and fosters productivity between the aviation industry. Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments below.
