KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, flag carrier of the Netherlands, has announced that it will be flying to 161 destinations during the Winter 2025-2026 season, with 92 of these destinations being inside Europe and another 69 being intercontinental routes, including those to the Caribbean.

KLM Boasts Increased Capacity

KLM has shared how its catalogue of destinations will change in the winter season, running from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026. In comparison to last winter, the overall number of total seats on flights for the season will increase by six percent. Much of this increase comes from ramping up flights to India (28 percent more than winter 2024) and the Caribbean (17 percent more than last year).

To help deliver these services, KLM is expecting to welcome its fifteenth and final Boeing 787-10, the largest model within the Boeing 787 family, and an upgrade to the 787-9 which has an increased number of seats onboard. KLM is also awaiting three new Airbus A321neo aircraft which are to be delivered in winter, with the hope that the new and improved fleet will make KLM a quieter, more efficient and more sustainable airline.

New Destinations and More Flights to Returning Hotspots

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is adding two new destinations to its network for the winter. At the end of November, KLM will operate a weekly service to Kittilä in Finland, a popular winter destination in Lapland. Barbados flights are also making a return to the network; combined with Georgetown in Guyana, this route will operate three times per week. KLM is also adding routes that it launched this summer to the winter schedule as well: in Europe, Exeter (UK) and Ljubljana (Slovenia) are making their debut as winter services. Intercontinentally, KLM will begin winter flights to Hyderabad in India. Starting in late February 2026, KLM will offer direct flights to San Diego. All of the above intercontinental services will operate three times weekly.

As well as these new routes, KLM is also increasing the number of flights departing for its most popular destinations. Between early January and late February 2026, KLM will increase flights to Delhi and Panama City from 7 to 10 times weekly. From mid-December, flights to Bangkok will also increase to 10 flights per week. Flights to Curaçao in the Caribbean will go up to 11 times per week. During the entire winter season, the number of weekly flights to Cape Town will increase from 10 to 11.  Other destinations with increased frequency include Boston, Miami, Portland, San Francisco, Bangalore, Aruba/Bonaire, São Paulo, Lima, and San José.

In Europe, KLM will continue flying to Ibiza later into the season, now also in November and December. After a short break, this route will return in February and March 2026. During the same periods, there will be extra flights to Southern European destinations such as Naples and Athens, as well as to Bordeaux, Gothenburg, Poznan, Cork, Leeds, and Vienna.
