JetBlue has unveiled new onboard menus for its premium Mint cabin, partnering with two acclaimed New York restaurants to bring a fresh dining experience to passengers travelling on select domestic and transatlantic routes. Available now, the new menus have been created in collaboration with Michelin-starred Manhattan restaurant Crown Shy and Brooklyn bakery and cafe Birdee.

New menu takes flight

Developed alongside Kent Hospitality Group, the new dishes are designed to showcase New York’s food scene while being adapted for service at 35,000 feet.

Passengers travelling in Mint can choose from a range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert options inspired by the restaurants’ signature flavours. Breakfast dishes from Birdee include a strawberries and cream croissant, mochi waffle and shakshuka, while Crown Sky has introduced options such as pork katsu, citrus marinated chicken and sweet potato lasagnette.

JetBlue said the menus also continue its personalised approach to onboard dining with vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free and nut-free options available for customers.

New York in the air

The airline said the partnership builds on Mint’s reputation for restaurant-inspired dining. Stephanie Evans Greene, JetBlue’s senior vice president of marketing and brand said:

“Our teams worked closely with the talented chefs at Crown Shy and Birdee to thoughtfully adapt their dishes for the onboard experience. We’re excited for customers to enjoy menus that bring two of New York’s most exciting restaurants to their next Mint flight.”

Chefs in the restaurant also added that the collaboration aimed to preserve the authenticity of the restaurants’ food while adapting for the unique challenges of inflight dining.

JetBlue also confirmed that two additional New York restaurants – Red Hook Tavern and Hometown Bar-B-Que will join the Mint dining programme in early 2027.
