Jet Aviation has introduced a fully Integrated Digital Control Centre (IDCC) for flight operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). The system enables data sharing between the flight operations team and customers. This is a part of Jet Aviation’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and service quality across its global network.

The system, based on a customised digital flight control centre, collects information related to flight planning, aircraft updates, airworthiness, crew availability, including information related to the electronic flight bag (a system that electronically stores and retrieves information required for flight operations), and more.

All the data is automatically collated, inputted and made available in one centralised operations control centre. This eliminates the need for manual entry and tracking. Any updates regarding flight operations are instantly communicated to the relevant teams and customers, who can access them online and in real-time. The system aligns with Jet Aviation’s dedication to improving efficiency and ensuring seamless data access between its flight operational teams and customers.

Niclas von Planta, vice president of flight services EMEA, said:

“Our promise is to make aircraft ownership effortless, and a key part of this is our ongoing journey toward innovative technology solutions in service of a seamless customer experience. This new integrated solution streamlines the flight planning process, enabling our teams to access and share data instantly with one another and the customer. It is an incredibly exciting development, and I look forward to continuing to enhance the system to provide even more integrated options for our customers in the future.”

IDCC is built on a customised LEON SOFTWARE flight operations management system, which was implemented into Jet Aviation’s EMEA and APAC flight services in December 2024.

Cheryl Alejandro, vice president of flight services APAC, said:

“In such a diverse region, every customer has different needs and requirements. We are committed to understanding these differences and tailoring our approach to a specific operation. As our customers experience more and more digitisation in other areas of their lives, they expect the same from their flight teams. The introduction of this bespoke, integrated platform not only enables our teams to provide an even more efficient and personalised service to our customers, it makes that same information easily and quickly available to customers and crew, as and when they need it.”
