N3 Overhaul Services, a joint venture by Rolls-Royce and Lufthansa Technik in Arnstadt, Germany, has announced a change in management. Holger Sindemann has been appointed as the new Director and General Manager. He will be in charge of the operational areas of the company.

N3 Engine Overhaul Services in Arnstadt, has made changes to its management team. The joint venture by Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc has positioned Holger Sindemann as the Director and General Manager. With almost 20 years of experience as an executive manager, Sindemann studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, one of Germany’s most prestigious technical universities. 

He is the successor of Carsten Behrens, who stepped down from the role after three years with the company. With Sindemann’s previous experience in the aerospace industry along with his years of experience as a strategy consultant, he will be in charge of the operational areas of the company. Stefan Landes and Holger Sindemann both form the N3 Management Board, with Landes being responsible for the commercial area.

Based in Arnstadt, Germany, N3 Engine Overhaul Services is a joint venture by Rolls-Royce plc and Lufthansa Technik AG and is the European centre of excellence for the maintenance and repair of Rolls-Royce Trent engines. The base has 1,100 employees including 41 trainees who service the engines of more than 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce with its portfolio consisting of Rolls-Royce Trent 700, Trent 900, Trent XWB, Trent 1,000 TEN and Trent 500 engines.
