Ryan Air Flights Update: Rescue Flights Announced for the Weekend

Budget airline Ryan Air has announced a new schedule of flights throughout the weekend to provide help to customers with disrupted travel schedules. 4 pairs of flights connecting Dulin and Stansted Airport are announced earlier this morning. These added flights hopefully provide travellers with alternative routes to continue their journey while Heathrow Airport repairs damage caused by power outages.

British Airways: Flight Updates as soon as possible

British Airways, who has terminal 5 at Heathrow as their home base, released an announcement regarding the incident earlier this morning as well. The airline advises passengers to refrain from travelling to the airport. Queries and concerns are handled through their customer hotlines, providing clarifications and alternatives as soon as possible.

This shutdown caused unprecedented chaos for air traffic around the area. While the airport recovers, it is advised that travellers keep updated if their travel plans might potentially be disrupted.

Dramatic as it seems, flight delays and diversions happen for various reasons, thus checking early gives travellers a buffer for any incident that might occur.

Travel Radar continues to follow up on this incident with the latest updates available.
