Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines are making big growth and action : collaboration and integration of loyalty. The Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines programme is evolving, offering members even greater rewards as both airlines take steps toward full integration. Starting today, members of HawaiianMiles and Mileage Plan can enjoy new perks designed to enhance their travel experience  and elite benefits .

New Loyalty Programme Benefits for HawaiianMiles and Mileage Plan Members

Now for members of either programme will have the following benefits:

  • HawaiianMiles and Mileage Plan Status Match: Members can now match their elite status across both collaborating programmes.
  • HawaiianMiles members can use miles  Alaska Airlines flights, while Mileage Plan members can accrue miles on Hawaiian Airlines flights.
  • As well,  members can take  their Mileage Plan miles to travel on flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines.

Effective immediately, members of both programmes will have access to the following advantages:

  • Status match between HawaiianMiles and Mileage Plan – Members can now match their elite status across both programmes.
  • Earning miles across both airlines – HawaiianMiles members can earn miles on Alaska Airlines flights, while Mileage Plan members can accrue miles on Hawaiian Airlines flights.
  • Redeeming Mileage Plan miles on Hawaiian Airlines flights – Members can use their Mileage Plan miles for award travel on Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights.

Enhanced Elite Status Perks for Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines

HawaiianMiles elite members with a linked Mileage Plan account will receive Mileage Plan elite benefits when flying with Alaska Airlines. Additionally, they will gain access to Oneworld® status perks when travelling with Oneworld® partner airlines. For example, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, and Qantas.

Another some of the premium benefits available to elite travellers include:

  • The list of other perks for elite fliers in premium cabins includes:
  • Priority check-in and preferred boarding
  • Access to international first- and business-class lounges (depending on elite status tier)
  • Expedited security screening
  • Additional baggage allowances

How to Link HawaiianMiles and Mileage Plan Accounts for Maximum Rewards

If you are taken  advantage of these exciting new benefits, HawaiianMiles members who do not yet have an Alaska Mileage Plan account must create one and link it to their existing HawaiianMiles account. By doing so, members will be able to:

  • Earn miles towards their respective loyalty programmes, regardless of whether they are flying Hawaiian or Alaska Airlines.
  • Accumulate miles that count toward elite status in both programmes.
  • Automatically receive the highest elite status possible based on their combined elite-qualifying miles (EQMs) in 2024.

HawaiianMiles members who have previously transferred miles between the two programmes are already linked and can begin enjoying these expanded benefits immediately.The Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines loyalty programmes ensures seamless travel experiences, elite benefits, and mileage rewards for frequent flyers.
