EVA Air is welcoming a significant upgrade to in-flight offerings this July with complimentary WiFi connection onboard. This upgrade will be preheated with limited-time summer promotions that enhance connectivity in the air.

Seamless Connectivity 10,000 Feet Above

Earlier in May, EVA Air announced an exciting upgrade of complimentary WiFi access to “Infinity MileageLands” members across all cabin classes, when the flight is cruising above 10,000 feet. Passengers need not worry about missing the whole world while in flight, with seamless connections onboard, they can stay connected and updated while cruising high up in the air.

To celebrate this upgrade, from 1 July to 30 September 2025, all passengers onboard WiFi-equipped aircraft (Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787, and Airbus A330-300) can enjoy unlimited connection while onboard, no matter which cabin they are seated in. Then the connection returns to member-exclusive starting 1 October.

Upgrading In-flight Offerings: What’s Next?

This summer is seeing a lot of upgrades in in-flight offerings, another one being Cathay Pacific’s guarantee of 100% WiFi and in-flight entertainment.

Except complimentary WiFi connection, EVA Air also announced a wireless in-flight entertainment system, where passengers can connect their devices and tablets to the onboard network and enjoy entertainment content from there. While this is currently only available onboard Airbus A321-200 aircraft, the airline expects to spread it fully across the fleet by 2026.
