Etihad’s New routes for global expansion

The national airline of the United Arab Emirates said that the new destinations have been added to enable customers to discover more cities across Europe and the Middle East.

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways, said:

“As we continue to grow Etihad’s footprint globally, our focus remains simple: to directly link more places to Abu Dhabi and warmly welcome more visitors to experience our beautiful home and the UAE’s capital.”

Neves added:

“We’ve already celebrated inaugural flights to several new destinations this year and continue to add routes that matter to our guests. We are pleased to announce Krakow and Salalah, which each bring something special to our network – from UNESCO-listed heritage in Poland to refreshing green landscapes in Oman during the Khareef season.”

The route to Krakow in Poland will be launched on Jun 16, 2026. The destination marks the second route for Etihad Airways in Poland, following its launch of flights to Warsaw in June this year. There are a host of places that can be explored in the Polish city, from its mediaeval Main Square to Wawel Castle. Travellers can also take a trip to the stunning Tatra Mountains from Kraków.

As for the Oman flight to Salalah, it will launch on May 21, 2026. The region is beautiful in the monsoon, covered with green mountains, beautiful waterfalls and cosy coastal air.
