In a brilliant move to enhance the travel experience for its premium passengers, Emirates has unveiled its new Chauffeur-Drive Service (CDS) in Riyadh. This door-to-door luxury service is exclusively available to First and Business Class travellers, and promises to set a new standard for comfort and convenience at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia. As of now, Emirates is the only airline offering this exclusive service, underlining its devotion to fostering world class hospitality in the air as well as on the ground.

Door-to-door

The launch marks Riyadh as the newest destination in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to offer this experience, aligning with the Emirates’ ongoing investments in the Kingdom. The new Chauffeur-Drive Service provides an unparalleled level of comfort and ease for First and Business Class travellers, offering a seamless transfer journey—from doorstep to destination. This complimentary service is available on all three daily Emirates flights to and from Riyadh, and covers a 100-kilometre radius from the airport, ensuring a stress-free arrival and departure experience.

Travellers can book the CDS through the airline’s ‘Manage My Booking’ portal, call centres or travel agents, ensuring a relaxed and effortless journey from the moment they leave their doorstep to their arrival at the airport. For destinations beyond the service radius, an excess mileage fee applies, still permitting travellers in and around Riyadh to delight in Emirates’ bespoke comfort.

Investments in Saudi Arabia’s Growing Market

This new luxury service is certainly part of a broader strategy to elevate Emirates and its presence within Saudi Arabia—one of its largest and most profitable markets. Alongside the launch of the CDS, the airline has recently invested in a new lounge at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, offering a premium space for up to 190 guests. The 900-square-metre lounge offers leisure and business travellers a luxurious space to relax or work before take-off.

Additionally, Riyadh is the first GCC destination to feature Emirates’ refurbished four-class Boeing 777, with refined Business Class cabins and Premium Economy seats, underscoring the airline’s commitment to unparalleled high class services across the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030

Emirates’ premium services like the Chauffeur-Drive align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, a transformative initiative designed to increase Saudi Arabia’s tourism and economic growth through international connectivity. At the 2024 Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the airline announced a two-way interline agreement with Riyadh-based airline, Flynas. This partnership offers travellers access to over 15 domestic destinations from Emirates’ Saudi gateways to destinations across Europe, Asia and the Indian Ocean. With 72 weekly flights connecting Dubai to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Medina, Emirates persists in its expanding business travel and tourism opportunities, supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitions of becoming a leading global destination.

Emirates remains dedicated to evolving and enhancing its services within Saudi Arabia, bringing exclusive and luxurious experiences to travellers, cementing its reputation as a premium carrier not only within its region but across the globe.
