About Emirates’ first electric Premium Economy seat with U-Dream headrest
Customers can use the divider in the electric Premium Economy seat to lock it into a permanent position. This creates a sense of privacy which helps customers relax during the flight. As Emirates’ first fully electrically powered Premium Economy seat, it allows customers to use the Passenger Control Unit to adjust their seat using a button. The Passenger Control Unit also includes settings like lounge mode and meal mode, which add further customization to the passenger experience.
The sense of comfort in Premium Economy is reinforced by recent additions like the U-Dream headrest by Safran Seats. This leather-crafted U-Dream headrest provides support for the neck and head, which makes the passenger experience onboard more relaxing. Furthermore, a manual leather footrest allows passengers to reduce leg fatigue, making long-haul flights more enjoyable.

Emirates redefines new Premium Economy
