Emirates will introduce its well-known Premium Economy service on two of its three daily flights between Mauritius and Dubai from Sept. 1 2026 for an elevated travel experience. This will allow travellers from Mauritius more comfort and flexibility when travelling to Dubai and onwards to other destinations throughout the Emirates network. This combines comfort and luxury to appeal to customer needs.

About Emirates Premium Economy service on flights to and from Mauritius

Premium Economy facilities are available on flights EK703/704, operated on the Emirates A380, and EK709/710, operated on an updated Boeing 777. As both wide-body aircraft include four travel classes with the addition of Premium Economy, this fits with Emirates’ ambitions and customer service.

The Emirates A380 including flights EK703/704 will feature 56 seats in Premium Economy, while the Boeing 777 operating EK709/710 will include 24 Premium Economy seats. As Premium Economy combines the practicality of economy class with premium features, it offers customers more choice and value for money.

As such, the introduction of Premium Economy on the Mauritius route for Emirates helps target customers and meet the demands of travel and tourism. This is achieved through in-flight enhancements and a strong emphasis on privacy and luxury furnishings, which help elevate the overall travel experience in Premium Economy.

More about Emirates Premium Economy cabin features

Emirates Premium Economy provides an elevated travel experience centered on significant 19.5 inches of legroom, along with a deep recline, adjustable headrests, footrests and in-seat charging. This is complemented by a wood-furnished cocktail table to add a touch of luxury as well as a 13.3-inch touch-screen entertainment screen.

Furthermore, customers in Premium Economy enjoy a premium dining experience with an extensive beverage selection and food served on Royal Doulton china.

Moreover, the inclusion of sustainable amenity kits, blankets and large pillows creates a comforting ambience. This focus on customer satisfaction is further supported by the Premium Economy check-in area at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Emirates has operated in Mauritius since 2002, supporting the development of the island as a tourist destination and driving global customer demand for luxury air travel
