Emirates is celebrating the British summer season with the return of its popular strawberry-inspired menu, giving passengers travelling between Dubai and the UK a taste of classic seasonal flavours at 40,000 feet. Available from July 13 to 31, the menu features strawberry-based desserts across all cabin classes inspired by British favourites.

Strawberry treats in all classes

Passengers travelling from Dubai to the UK can enjoy honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream in First Class, strawberry tart with pistachio sauce in Business and Premium Economy, and cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote in Economy Class. On return flights, Eton mess, white chocolate cheesecake, strawberry panna cotta and strawberry cheesecake will be served, each with its own strawberry twist.

The seasonal menu uses the Monterrey strawberry variety, selected by Emirates for its colour, sweetness and flavour. More than 10 kg of Monterrey strawberries are sourced each day from Bustanica, the world’s largest indoor vertical farm co-owned by Emirates. The airline said the strawberries are served onboard less than 12 hours after being harvested, helping to maintain freshness. Emirates also works with UK strawberry growers, including a family-run farm in Kent.

Celebrating seasonal dining

The strawberry theme extends beyond the main menu, with the Emirates’ A380 Onboard Lounge also offering strawberry treats and inspired drinks. The airline said the menu reflects its approach of using seasonal ingredients and destination-inspired flavours to create dining experiences for passengers.

Alongside serving strawberries on board, Emirates SkyCargo is also supporting the global distribution of British strawberries, having transported more than 230 tonnes from the UK to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since March 2026.
