Emirates and the Museum of the Future will co-host the first-ever Aviation Future Week set to take place in Dubai between 15 and 17 October. Attendees will include UAE ministers and government officials, as well as industry leaders from across the aviation and aerospace fields.
Timetable
In a first-of-its-kind event, the 3-day conference will allow guests to discuss the latest issues within aviation.
The first day will address air travel and airport infrastructure, as well as how technology is used by airports, airlines, aerospace manufacturers and other stakeholders to enhance the passenger experience.
Day Two will highlight progress within airfreight and logistics, with a specific focus on MRO developments. MRO stands for Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul and aims to achieve maximum safety standards within the aviation industry.
The third and final day will explore the potential of Web3, AI and XR-infused solutions to drive workflow efficiency and service delivery. Web3 is the concept of a decentralised internet, built on blockchains and controlled by participants rather than central bodies while XR encapsulates Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR).

Who are Emirates and the Museum of the Future?
Based in Garhoud, Dubai and founded on 25 March 1985, Emirates is the largest airline in the Middle East. Certified as a four-star airline by Skytrax, Emirates is known for utilising the latest technological advancements to optimise its operations.
The Museum of the Future is located in Dubai’s financial district. Inaugurated on 22 February 2022 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, its goal is to be the first museum to take a glimpse into the future, rather than museums that typically explore and preserve the past.
