Reciprocal Loyalty Benefits

On 25 February 2025, Emirates and Garuda Indonesia signed a new agreement extending their partnership. The two embarked on a codeshare programme in 2022, and this new agreement expands the mutual benefits for members of both loyalty programmes. These include coverage of a broader flight network with more miles, rewards and benefits.

Adnan Kazim,  the Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates, commented on this strategic partnership as an expansion strategy of the airline into the Asian market that brings mutual benefits:

“This strategic collaboration aligns with Skywards’ vision of creating a truly global loyalty experience for our members worldwide. It will open new doors for frequent flyers to earn and redeem miles across our combined networks, while also expanding our renowned loyalty offering in Southeast Asia. We look forward to growing this partnership and delivering even greater value to our members.”

Expanded benefits of the programme include the possibility of redeeming flights with Emirates and more destinations with codeshare flights.
