On August 1, 2025, Embraer Defence and Security announced its partnership with the Lithuanian industry to establish long-term cooperation in the aerospace and defence industry. Embraer is a leading aerospace company which is expanding across Europe.
Moreover, experts from Embraer have travelled to Lithuania to meet the local industrial partners and conducted visits to facilities. Their expertise lies in areas like Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Engineering, Innovation, Technological Development and Supply Chain management.
The President and CEO of Embraer Defence and Security said:
“We have met with several Lithuanian industrial organisations and have observed their expertise and capabilities.”
Along with this, he also expressed:
“We will contribute to Lithuania’s defence capabilities with the C-390 Millennium aircraft and also support the country’s industrial and technological development.”

Embraer’s Presence In Europe
Embraer Defence and Security has been expanding its presence in Europe since the early 2000s. This expansion mainly focused on the strategic investments in defense companies, establishment of industrial facilities, and the expansion of its supplier network. Over 40% of the C-390’s supply chain is sourced from its European partners.
In addition to this, Embraer launched many key industrial cooperation project with Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic and Sweden and the recent one being with Lithuania. The headquarters of the Embraer Defences European branch is located in Lisbon and Portugal, along with this the company is also in talks with the EU and NATO for further collaborations.
With its headquarters in Brazil, Embraer is a global aerospace company which manufactures aircraft for Commerical and Executuve aviation, Defense and Security, and Agricultural customers. To date, Embraer has delivered more than 9,000 aircraft.
