The Naples to Liverpool service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, perfectly timed for long weekends or short breaks in one of Italy’s most vibrant cities.

Seats for the new route are already available to book, giving holidaymakers an early chance to secure low fares ahead of next year’s peak travel season.

The expansion reinforces easyJet’s long-standing commitment to improving connectivity for passengers across the North West.

A Gateway to Pompeii, Vesuvius and Italy’s Iconic Coast

The airline highlighted Naples as an ideal destination for culture lovers, food enthusiasts and coastal explorers alike.

Located close to Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, and the glittering shores of the Amalfi Coast, the city offers an unrivalled mix of history, scenery and world-famous cuisine.

To complement the new flights, easyJet holidays has launched complete travel packages from Liverpool, combining flights and hotels for passengers seeking a hassle-free escape.

The addition of a ninth aircraft at the airport next summer will support the expanding network.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the new route reflects the airline’s mission as it marks its 30th year.

“We’re still as committed as ever to making travel easy and affordable for our customers in the UK. With this latest new route from Liverpool to the vibrant city of Naples, we’re continuing to provide even more choice and connectivity at fantastic fares,” said Doyle.

Strong Demand Expected as Airport Network Grows

Liverpool John Lennon Airport welcomed the announcement, noting an expected surge in interest for the Italian hotspot.

“There is so much to see and do in this part of Italy we expect this new route to be very popular, not forgetting that it’s also the birthplace of pizza of course,” said Robin Tudor, the airport’s head of PR and communications.

“Over the past 12 months, easyJet has continued to grow its network at the airport, having launched ten new routes from Liverpool including Malta, Fuerteventura, Prague, Berlin, Marrakesh, City of Derry, Sharm el Sheikh, Split, Lisbon and Paphos,” Tudor added.

easyJet currently serves 22 UK airports and operates more than 630 routes to 140 destinations, with Naples now set to become one of the airline’s standout Mediterranean options for 2026.
