Connectivity between aviation and tourism

Airline executives underlined the role of connectivity in expanding Egypt’s global tourism footprint. They proposed increasing seat capacity and improving direct links between Egyptian destinations and international markets. Such measures not only attract more tourists but also solidify Egypt’s position as a premier travel destination. The meeting acknowledged the crucial role of government support in promoting collaboration. Stakeholders praised the Ministry of Civil Aviation for its proactive coordination and support initiatives. Moreover, they noted that the Egyptian government continues to empower local and international companies, creating a favorable environment for tourism growth. By focusing on these strategic goals, Egypt aims to keep its aviation and tourism industries competitive and resilient. Therefore, the partnership between airlines, tourism chambers, and the government is key to achieving long-term economic development and tourism growth.
