Hong Kong’s national airline, Cathay Pacific, has officially introduced its latest innovation in luxury air travel, the ‘Aria Suite’. This state-of-the-art Business Class experience promises to redefine privacy and comfort in the clouds. Debuted at Hong Kong International Airport, the Aria Suite will feature on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, with the first commercial flights set to launch towards the end of October 2024.

Privacy Meets Practicality

The Aria Suite is Cathay Pacific’s first Business Class cabin to feature fully enclosed seats, offering passengers unparalleled privacy. The suite’s design retains the airline’s signature reverse herringbone 1-2-1 layout, with passengers angled towards the cabin windows rather than the aisle, yet maintaining easy aisle access. The suite’s adjustable dividers and fixed-back shell design means that passengers no longer need to worry about those behind them when fully reclined. With its neutral palette of sandy, creamy tones, the Aria Suite garners a serene atmosphere, and incorporates a touch of luxury with its marbelised and woodgrain finishes. Its hidden cubbies and storage compartments elevate the seamless finish to the cabin whilst providing absolute practicality.

Advanced Inflight Technology

A unique detail of the Aria Suite is its ‘activity modes’, which allow seat positions and lighting to be adjusted for different phases of the flight, from dining to sleep to relaxing. The suite offers high-powered charging pads and both USB-A and USB-C ports, along with complimentary Wi-Fi ensuring that working passengers remain connected throughout their entire journey.

The suite is equipped with cutting-edge amenities to make the journey even more effortless. A 24-inch 4K high-definition screen provides crystal-clear entertainment, accompanied by Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones such as Apple AirPods. An exciting new feature will soon allow passengers to sync their entertainment up with companions.

Artistic, Culinary and Cosmetic Delights

Each aircraft’s Business cabin is adorned with unique artworks crafted by artists connected to Hong Kong’s natural beauty and vibrant cityscapes. As part of Cathay Pacific’s ‘gallery in the skies’, these stunning works ground the space and transport travellers into the artist’s vision.

Alongside the gallery, Aria Suite passengers can indulge in a curated dining experience that blends classic Hong Kong flavours, international cuisine and plant-forward dishes prepared by award-winning local chefs. Whether paired with premium wines, champagnes or the exclusive Betsy beer from the airline’s award-winning Business cellar—the culinary delights are designed with excellence.

For absolute relaxation, the suite’s Bamford amenity kits provide sumptuous and natural skincare to keep the long-haul traveller’s skin hydrated and rejuvenated. Paired with 400-thread-count cotton bedlinen, a sleep mask, slippers and plump pillows, Cathay Pacific has championed in putting its clients’ rest at the forefront of their Business travel experience.
