Spanish airline Binter Canarias, the flag carrier of the Canary Islands, has launched a new wave of discount airfares (which it calls a “Bintazo”) for both domestic and international flights from the Canary Islands to destinations such as Madrid, Madeira in Portugal (Azores Islands) and Ponta Delgada (São Miguel Island, Portugal).

Tickets on Sale Now

The tickets for these flights — due to take off between Sep. 15, 2026 and Mar. 31, 2027 — are available for purchase until Apr. 27 via the Binter Canarias website. The offerings for budget flights start from as little as 21 euros each way for destinations including Seville and Valencia for residents of the Canary Islands. For 23 euros, passengers can reach Cordoba, Almería and Vitoria-Gasteiz, and for 25 euros passengers can fly direct to the country’s capital, Madrid. These destinations are popular for travellers from the Canary Islands, allowing many more possibilities for work, leisure and visiting friends and family.

There are also a range of international flights for customers to choose from: a trip to Madeira, Portugal will cost 59 euros each way, and one-way travel to Ponta Delgada in the Azores and the island of Sal in Cape Verde will set customers back 105 euros and 115 euros respectively.

Binter: Connecting the Canaries to the World

Binter Canarias boasts a fleet of comfortable Embraer E195-E2 aircraft and feature a unique configuration that allows for more leg room. For its flights to Madeira, Binter operates these using ATR 72, a twin-engine, short-haul aircraft that offers a unique, high-quality service to passengers on board.

Customers wishing to book a ticket on a Binter Canarias flight can do so online, via the Binter app, through a travel agent or at airport offices.
