The company has agreed to purchase 134 aircraft and sell 85. These figures emphasise its strong presence in the aviation leasing market. More particularly, an important event of the year is Avolon’s agreement to acquire CastleLake Aviation Limited’s portfolio, which includes a hundred aircraft and two engines in a deal valued at approximately five billion. With an order of 442 ajetsAvolon prepares to meet the local growing demand for aircraft leasing services fulfilling the need for aircraft leasing services globally. The Castlelake acquisition is critical as it will increase Avolon’s total fleet size to 1137 aircraft strengthening thus its competitive profile within the aviation market.
