Avianca Expands Business Class Across All Routes

Throughout its international network and even on domestic routes, Avianca has enhanced the customer experience by offering its premium Business Class Americas in Colombia, Ecuador, and Guatemala.

Offering consistent enhancements to travel, the airline has expanded its business class across all routes to increase the availability of premium benefits.

Avianca’s Chief Commercial Officer, Otto Gergye, comments on the enhanced customer experience.

“With the launch of Business Class Américas on domestic routes, we are expanding access to this experience while raising comfort and service standards for customers.”

“Reinforces consistent regional offering” with New Business Class Integration

The Business Class Americas offered by Avianca will include premium packages for customers on the ground and on board across domestic and international routes.

For customers on-ground, experiences available include:

  • Priority services mean faster check-in and baggage drop-off.
  • Access to 11 premium Avianca lounges and over 1,000 lounges part of the Star Alliance program
  • Carry on luggage up to 10kg, and two check-in bags up to 32kg.

Premium business class experiences are also carried onboard flights, including:

  • Dedicated seating in the first three rows features reclining, increased space, privacy, adjustable headrests, work tables, and USB ports.
  • On domestic routes, snack services, beverages, and amenities will be available.
  • On flights over 3 hours, a specialised menu by Chef Álvaro Clavijo.

“This expansion complements its availability across all international routes within the Americas and reinforces a consistent regional offering, now present on more than 40 domestic routes and over 100 international routes,” shares Gergye.
