All Nippon Airways (ANA) are launching a new route from Tokyo Haneda to Stockholm Arlanda on the 31st January. The new direct flight from Stockholm will be the second route between the two capitals.

The development has been made due to ANA’s plan to expand its European network. ANA looks to offer connections from all over Europe to over 50 airports across Japan, due to their partnership with Lufthansa.

What’s on offer?

The airline is offering what they call the ‘ANA Experience’.

ANA offers luxury and relaxation in business, premium economy, and economy classes. They promise the five-star experience in all aspects of the flight.

An All Nippon Airways spokesperson wrote:

“From the moment you step onboard, discover the warmth of Japanese hospitality, enjoy delicious food and drinks, comfortable seating, wide range of inflight entertainment and convenient Wi-Fi connectivity.”

The Stockholm-Tokyo route is part of All Nippon Airways’ 2025 summer flight schedule.

2025 Summer Flight Schedule

The new route to Stockholm is conjoined with new routes from Tokyo to Milan and Istanbul. ANA have opened these routes to fill their 2025 summer flight schedule.

Previously, Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Air Group revealed new routes to Tokyo Haneda in May 2025. They added Seoul Incheon to the list shortly after.

Air Japan, parented by ANA, began selling tickets for its summer schedule destinations on 10th December. The first route revealed was Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon. All summer schedule flights will take place between 30th March and 31st July.

Air Japan says this will be “more convenient to use for urgent business trips”.

Tokyo to Seoul

Between 30th March and 31st July, there will be one flight from Tokyo Narita to Seoul Incheon every day. Then, one flight back.

The initial flight will take off from Tokyo at 09:55 JST, landing in Seoul at 12:25. Then, returning from Seoul at 13:35 and landing back in Tokyo at 16:15. During the summer period, there will be 208 flights between this route.

Air Japan will use Boeing 787-8s, perfect the busy demand of summer with its capacity of 324 seats.

More destinations are expected to be revealed soon.
