Boeing delivered 60 commercial aircraft in June 2025, recording the highest number of deliveries since late 2023. Its competitor, French aircraft manufacturer Airbus, recorded 63 aircraft deliveries in the month.

Boeing Deliveries of Commercial Aircraft

This is the highest recorded commercial aircraft deliveries for the company since late 2023, before the door plug incident on Alaska Airlines in January 2024 involving the Boeing 737. The company has been embroiled in controversies. Most recently, the manufacturer was under scrutiny following the fatal Air India flight AI171 crash involving the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which killed 241 of 242 people onboard. Following the incident, it had a muted presence at the Paris Air Show this year, where its competitor Airbus had ramped up orders.

Ten of the 60 commercial aircraft delivered in June 2025 were to Southwest Airlines. Boeing delivered 42 737 Max aircraft during the month. It delivered six 787-9 aircraft and three of its 787-10 planes.  Notably, the United States-based manufacturer delivered five planes to China-based airlines amid tariff tensions between the US and China.

The company is working to tighten up the production. Overall, it delivered 150 planes in the second quarter of this year. Its total deliveries to date in 2025 stood at 280. The aircraft received 116 orders for its commercial aircraft in June 2025. It will announce its detailed second-quarter financial results on June 29.

Airbus aircraft deliveries

European airline manufacturer and Boeing’s competitor, Airbus, also announced its June deliveries. As mentioned before, Airbus has ramped up orders throughout the Paris Air Show this year, as Boeing took a backseat following the Air India incident. The company delivered 63 aircraft to 35 customers during the month. Its gross orders in the month stood at 203. Overall, till June 30, 2025, it had delivered 306 aircraft to 65 customers in the year.
