airBaltic has announced that it will offer nearly 100 routes from the Baltic to various European destinations this summer. The airline looks to provide travellers with options for leisure, business, and onward connectivity.

European destinations

This summer, airBaltic will increase flight frequencies on 14 existing routes. Also, the airline is introducing direct flights from Tallinn to Reykjavík, Palma de Mallorca, and Tirana. As well as that, passengers may fly from Vilnius to Prague and Tirana, while also extending its service to Dusseldorf.

After analysing booking trends, passenger demand, and season travel preferences, airBaltic identified its most popular summer destinations. These were Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Copenhagen, London, Malaga, Paris, and Tirana. Some of these getaways were included in airBaltic’s most popular spring destinations.

The airline has observed a strong demand for sunny leisure locations and city escapes this season. Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic said:

Our goal is to provide diverse travel opportunities and seamless connections between the region and the rest of the world. Demand for our services and passenger numbers continues to grow each month, strengthening our position as the leading airline in the Baltics. Additionally, the connectivity airBaltic provides to and from the region enhances global accessibility, fostering growth in inbound tourism and international business travel.

Amsterdam

airBaltic revealed a significant increase in flights connecting the Baltic capitals with Amsterdam. During summer, the carrier will operate three daily flights between Riga and Amsterdam, two daily flights between Tallinn and Amsterdam, and two daily flights between Vilnius and Amsterdam.

This expansion will provide travellers seamless connectivity to the Dutch capital, and a further range of onward connection options through the Netherlands’ airport hub.

airBaltic operates nearly 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and, seasonally, Gran Canaria, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in the airline’s route network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
