A330neo delivery

Air Côte d’Ivoire’s A330neo is the first wide-body aircraft in the airline’s fleet and is configured in a comfortable four-class cabin layout. The aircraft has four seats in First class, 44 in Business class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 173 in Economy class. The airline travels to 22 destinations over the African continent and intends to expand its network into Europe. Air Côte d’Ivoire intends to expand its network into Europe, starting with Paris, the capital of France, and then to the Middle East and North America.

The airline’s A330neo delivery flight from Toulouse transported five tons of humanitarian goods to the airline’s base in Abidjan, which included materials and school supplies. The flight was the airline’s third goodwill flight and was coordinated with the Airbus Foundation, supported by Aviation Sans Frontieres, who provided the donations. According to Airbus, the goods were distributed to two local non-governmental organisations (NGOs), LifeShine and la Bienfaisance. This flight was to directly support their initiatives within the health and education sectors in Abidjan.

A330neo features

Some notable features of the airline’s A330neo include enlarged overhead bins, a modern lighting system, and more personal space, all part of the award-winning Airspace cabin designed to enhance comfort, ambiance, and style. According to Airbus, it also features the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.

Airbus has been developing its A330 family for some time and continues to do so, aiming to get the aircraft compatible with 100 percent sustainable aviation (SAF) fuel by 2030. Currently, the aircraft is 50 percent compatible with SAF, and according to Airbus, the aircraft has won over 1,920 firm orders from more than 130 customers worldwide.
