Air Canada announced Tuesday, July 29, that the Landline coach service, which connects passengers to various Canadian airports, will be further expanded to allow customers to travel between Kingston Norman Rodgers Airport (YGK) and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

Connecting Customers

Air Canada and The Landline Company are continuing their partnership which allows customers to access intermodal services between Toronto Pearson and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), as well as Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF). Following the announcement, Landline will now also operate two direct round-trip journeys to Toronto Pearson from Kingston Norman Rodgers Airport in eastern Ontario.

From Sept. 23, a new luxury coach service will operate, including spacious leather seats, free Wi-Fi and an on-board toilet, as well as full accessibility for passengers with disabilities or mobility issues. These trips will be timed conveniently for connections to and from flights across Air Canada’s worldwide network. Ranbir Singh, director of regional airlines and market at Air Canada, addressed the expansion in the following statement:

“We are delighted to be reconnecting customers in Kingston and the surrounding region to our global network. This is a premier example of the new opportunities our growing partnership with The Landline Company unlocks. Customers travelling between Norman Rogers Airport and Toronto Pearson on Landline’s premium motorcoaches will enjoy the same benefits as those making air-only connections, including the convenience of a single itinerary and through-tagged baggage when departing Kingston, disruption protection, and Aeroplan earning opportunities.”

A Premium Passenger Experience with The Landline Company

Passengers travelling on Landline services who begin their journey at Kingston will check in for their flight as normal, including tagging their luggage and obtaining boarding passes for their journey. They will then board a luxury, Air Canada-branded coach and have their checked baggage loaded. On arrival, they will disembark and proceed directly to the self-service bag drop and then to airport security. Until 31 December 2025, Air Canada is offering a fee waiver for customers, i.e. they can add a coach journey to their existing booking for no extra charge.

The new service will operate according to the following schedule:

  • AC2514 – 04:00 Kingston (YGK) to 06:50 Toronto (YYZ) – Daily
  • AC2515 – 08:10 Toronto (YYZ) to 11:05 Kingston (YGK) – Daily
  • AC2516 – 14:00 Kingston (YGK) to 17:30 Toronto (YYZ) – Daily
  • AC2517 – 19:10 Toronto (YYZ) to 22:05 Kingston (YGK) – Daily

Customers can find out more by visiting The Landline Company’s website and checking out the FAQ section.
