Air Canada has today announced several new additions to its Winter schedule, with Ecuadorian capital Quito set to join its network. The airline’s Toronto-Manchester and Toronto-Copenhagen routes will also become year-round services.

Facilitating Tourism, Trade and Connectivity
The new service to Quito from Montréal and Toronto is set to begin in December 2026, while the popular Toronto-Manchester and Toronto-Copenhagen routes will become year-round services from October 2026.
The airline also announced that as well as expanding its winter services to Rio, Santiago, and Lima, it will launch new Calgary services to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta in December 2026.
Commenting on the new routes, Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, and President of Cargo at Air Canada said:

Convenient travel to and from North America and Europe
Flights to Quito will run three times weekly from Montréal and once weekly from Toronto, starting early December 2026. The airline will utilise its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet on this route, with lucky passengers able to choose between Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.
The expanded Manchester and Copenhagen services will be operated on Air Canada’s newest fleet type: the Airbus A321XLR, which is the airline’s first narrow-body aircraft to offer Signature Class lie-flat seats.
