Starting in December 2023, a new training program will commence at the CAE Flight Training Centre in Singapore. The joint venture between Embraer S.A., a Brazilian multinational aerospace corporation, and CAE Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of simulation and modeling technologies along with training services for airlines, is initiating a novel piloting program utilizing the E-Jet E2 full-flight simulator (FFS). Embraer-CAE Training Services anticipates extending the training programs for pilots and cabin crews to other strategic locations within CAE’s global network.

The Embraer E-Jet E2 family fleet has recently experienced growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Singapore was the inaugural location selected by Embraer-CAE Training Services for a training facility, aimed at bolstering Embraer’s strategic advantage in the area.

Representatives from Embraer and CAE provided comments regarding the new expansion of their joint venture:

“We are delighted to build on our offering and introduce the E2 pilot training program to support the growing number of APAC operators embracing the latest generation of platforms,” said Johann Bordais, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support. “We are more than ever committed to providing high-quality training programs available in locations close to our E-Jets E2s’ operators.”

“Adding the E-Jets E2 platform to our existing joint venture is a natural next step in the partnership CAE and Embraer have built over the last 16 years,” said Michel Azar-Hmouda, Vice President of Commercial Aviation Training at CAE. “Launching the new program in Singapore brings E2 training closer to our APAC customers and ensures their pilots are ready to take flight as E2 jets join their fleets.”
