All Nippon Airways (ANA) has introduced the Green Pokémon Jet, the second aircraft in ANA’s three-aircraft 2026 Pokémon Jet series. The aircraft, a Boeing 787-9 with aircraft number JA923A, will mainly operate over routes to the United States and Southeast Asia.
Inaugural Flight to Honolulu
The aircraft took off on its inaugural flight from Haneda Airport (HND) to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) on Sept. 18. The flight was numbered NH186, which departed HND at 9:58 p.m. JST and arrived at HNL at 10:26 a.m. HST.
The Green Pokémon Jet is scheduled to operate on several international routes from Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Tokyo Narita (NRT). From Tokyo Haneda, the aircraft is likely to fly to Honolulu, Seattle, Vancouver, Sydney, Manila, Singapore, Delhi, Bangkok, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur. While from Narita, the aircraft is likely to operate on routes to Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Perth and Mumbai.
Pokémon-Themed Cabin Experience
The Green Pokémon jet will feature Pikachu alongside Grass-type Pokémon, including Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Snivy, Chespin, Rowlet, Grookey and Sprigatito.
In addition to the themed exterior of the aircraft, ANA have included Pokémon-themed cabin amenities, such as headrest covers, cups and cocktail napkins. The flight service also features Pokemon-themed background music.
The Green Pokémon Jet is part of ANA’s three-aircraft Pokémon Jet series, featuring Red, Green and Blue aircraft. The Red Pokémon Jet operates on domestic routes beginning July 29, 2026, while the Blue Pokémon Jet is set to launch on domestic routes this winter, with the launch date still to be announced.
ANA first introduced Pokémon Jets in 1998 and has operated multiple Pokémon-themed aircraft since then.
