Qatar Airways announced that from March 8, 2026, it will run limited flights to Doha Hamad International (DOH), from main airports in Europe and Asia. The hubs that have had the most passenger disruptions have been prioritised.

Where will Qatar Airways operate from?

Qatar will first fly passengers who were originally meant to fly to Doha between Feb. 28 and March 7, with flights from: London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Madrid (MAD), Rome (FCO), Frankfurt (FRA) and Bangkok (BKK). These limited flights are necessary, as hundreds of thousands of people have been left stranded after drone attacks in the Middle East caused chaos with aviation in the region.

These flights are not running as previously scheduled, instead operating as relief flights for Qatari residents who have been unable to get home from various ports around the world. The flights are only available for passengers whose final destination is Doha. Any passengers connecting through Hamad International to onward destinations should await further updates from the Qatar Airways app or website.

Are other airports considering restarting Doha flights?

As of March 8, 2026, Qatar Airways announced that the limited flights will only be those above for the time being, however, other destinations may be added if the situation in the Middle East continues to improve.

Other airlines, including Emirates, Etihad and flyDubai, have also started running relief flights this week in an effort to move stranded passengers back to their home bases. More locations are expected to be added to Qatar’s relief flight schedules in the upcoming weeks.

Are you scheduled to fly to Doha in the upcoming weeks? Let us know in the comments.
