The Future of Next-Gen Aviation

This partnership is set to be based on a series of strategic sessions addressing critical topics for financing and leasing, like direct operating costs, residual value, to support the E9X aircraft.

“The future of aviation will not be built by technology alone, but by the strength of an ecosystem working together. Through our partnerships with airlines and now with TrueNoord, who as a lessor of regional aircraft understands the dynamics of a 90-passenger aircraft better than anyone, we ensure that E9X is not only technologically viable, but it also addresses commercial and financial expectations of the industry.’’ said Daniel Rosen Jacobson, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Elysian Aircraft.

Moreover, Trueoord will be investigating these aircraft to provide a platform for dialogue between innovators, financiers, airlines and other stakeholders from the sustainable aviation ecosystem.

Anne-Bart Tieleman, CEO of TrueNoord, said, “The future of aviation will not be built by technology alone, but by the strength of an ecosystem working together. Through our partnerships with airlines and now with TrueNoord, who as a lessor of regional aircraft understands the dynamics of a 90-passenger aircraft better than anyone, we ensure that E9X is not only technologically viable, but it also addresses commercial and financial expectations of the industry.’’

About Elysian Aircraft

Founded in 2023, Elysian Aircraft has a mission to electrify half of all flights worldwide in the near future. While the company is developing the E9X, the world’s first large-scale battery-electric aircraft, which is designed to carry 9 passengers for 800+ kms, the E9X will replace 50% of all scheduled flights and reduce global aviation emissions by 20%.

Elysian is leading the transition to emission-free flight, backed by a strong patent portfolio and industry partnerships, including Fokker Services Group, KLM, and Transavia.
