Air India announces over 170 new flights added to their schedule from October 2025, including both domestic flights and short-haul international flights as part of their Northern Winter schedule.

Air India: Increased Flights from the End of the Month
Today, Air India announced updated flight frequencies -174 weekly flights- commencing 26 October 2025, featuring increased weekly flights on domestic and short-haul international routes. This is to cater to the increasing domestic and regional travel demands in the last quarter of the year.
From the end of October, a few different domestic flights connecting Mumbai and Delhi to other major cities have doubled daily flights, while for short-haul international flights, routes to Kuala Lumpur and Bali are also seeing an increase in their weekly flights from 7 to 10, beginning from November 15 and December 1, respectively.
The airline announced that these routes will be operated on its single-aisle aircraft.

Indian Aviation: Increased Regional and International Connectivity
This year, India has seen strong developments in aviation for both regional and international services, with increased partnerships and the revival of direct routes globally.
With increased connectivity, Air India is also seeking to provide better services in-flight, with their retrofit programme of its Airbus A320neo aircraft almost coming to a finish. With upgraded cabins, they are looking to deliver premium services across 80 domestic and short-haul international routes.
