Billund and Edinburgh: Creativity connects with Culture

This new direct flight route from Edinburgh to Billund, Denmark, would be the fourth direct route that connects the Scottish cultural capital to the Nordics.

Magnus Thome Maursund, chief commercial officer at Norwegian, sees this new route as an additional bond between the culture and creativity that thrives in both cities:

“The direct route will make it easier for Danes to experience history, culture, cuisine, and the stunning landscapes of Edinburgh and the Scottish Highlands – an unforgettable travel experience. Likewise, we hope to welcome on board many Scots travelling to Billund, one of the most popular family destinations in Scandinavia, known for its many attractions and famous theme parks. It is home to LEGOLAND, making it a dream holiday destination for families.”

Norwegian now offers flights from Edinburgh to major cities in the Nordic countries, including Copenhagen, Bergen, Oslo, Stockholm, and the newly added Billund.

Billund: Home to the Creative Universe of LEGO

Crowned Denmark’s capital of play and creativity, Billund houses the world-famous LEGOLAND, a theme park of the famous colourful building bricks that enchants kids and adults alike with its possibilities.

The city is also a hub of connection for travellers who wish to explore the Jutland region, with a lot of enchanting cities and museums to explore.
