Cape Town International Airport (CPT) has been named the best airport in the world for 2025 by the AirHelp Score Report. Earning a score of 8.57 out of 10, CPT outpaced over 200 airports in the world due to its exceptional on-time performance, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Hamad International Airport follows closely at number two with 8.52, while King Khaled International Airport the third spot with a score of 8.47.

Each year, the AirHelp Score Report ranks the world’s airports based on factors like on-time performance, service quality, and customer feedback. The 2025 results are in—and it’s great news for travellers flying through Africa and the Middle East.

  2. Doha Hamad International Airport in Qatar.
  3. Riyadh King Khaled International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

  6. Panama City Tocumen Airport in Panama
  7. Durban King Shaka Airport in South Africa.
