Emirates’ latest analysis revealed the hottest spots that gained the most flight searches this summer.

Emirates’ findings

According to Emirates’ data, flight searches for summer rose 7% compared to last year. France was marked as the hottest spot, which gained 35% outbound travel searches. Besides France, other destinations such as Ireland, Canada, and Saudi Arabia also gained many searches this year.

However, based on Emirates’ analysis, many destinations across the Far East, the Indian Ocean, and Europe gained much attention in 2025 summer.

Emirates summer hot spot 2025

Emirates unveiled the top five destinations which hit the most flight searches this year, including Vietnam, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Japan, and France.

Vietnam became a hot spot this summer with 61% growth in travellers’ interest and increasing booking demand.

Close behind, Mauritius ranked second in demand destination with 41% searches rising on the Emirates database.

Sri Lanka, another nation surrounded by the sea, has ranked the third place with 32% increased flight searches.

Back to the East, Japan, a country with a unique culture and stunning landscapes, continues to attract more travellers this year with 28% increased searches compared to last year.

Last but not least, the timeless, attractive travelling spot, France, ranked top five from the searches with 25% growth this year.
