All eyes on Munich with Paris Saint-Germain and FC Internazionale Milano facing off in the UEFA Champions League final on May 31, at the iconic Allianz Arena. This intense match is also the setting for a historic ‘sponsorship treble’ with Qatar Airways uniquely sponsoring both teams and the competition itself.

On the Field

At this year’s UEFA Champions League final, Qatar Airways will be a hard name to miss. The airline is a partner of Paris Saint-Germain, FC Internazionale Milano, and the UEFA Champions League, forming a ‘sponsorship treble’ for the first time.

Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Chief Executive Officer at Qatar Airways, has commented on the unique nature of this sponsorship:

“Our triple partnership with UEFA, PSG, and Inter is a landmark moment for Qatar Airways. This final unites our values of ambition, precision, and global connectivity, with football as the unifying force. We are proud to deliver memorable journeys for fans while celebrating the spirit of the beautiful game.”

Committed to global connection and for love of the game, Qatar Airways has offered exclusive UEFA Champions League travel packages ahead of the big match. These bundles include flights, hotel stays, and match tickets – and have since completely sold out.

At the match, Qatar Airways will be working in collaboration with PSG and Inter to support two children’s ‘Dream Night’ experience. The initiative will benefit a child with autism and a child recovering from leukemia, demonstrating the important role of inclusivity and sport as they watch the pre-match warm-up from pitch side and cheer on their respective team from the stands.

During the match, Qatar Airways will further boost the experience of attendees at halftime. Global Ambassador and football icon Kaká will be awarding two lucky fans with complimentary Business Class tickets to any Qatar Airways destination, further tying together travel and sport.

Off the Pitch

Qatar Airways have developed their position into more than just sponsorship, further exploring the significance of connectivity and community in fan experience. On 29 May, Qatar Airways will host a special live podcast hosted by Rio Ferdinand at Olympiapark. This event – titled ‘Rio Meets Powered by Qatar Airways’ – will see Rio Ferdinand candidly talk with football legends Claude Makélélé and Julio Cesar about their Champions League victories, and the legacy of both PSG and Inter.

Qatar Airways plays a collaborative role in a range of worldwide sporting events, players and teams – ranging across football, equestrian racing, motorsports, tennis and more. Outside of sports, the airline continues to deepen partnerships. Qatar Airways has most recently strengthened their relations with Boeing and GE Aerospace, making two record-breaking orders from the manufacturers.
