New Destinations in South Africa and Brazil

SAS’ dedication to improving Scandinavian connections will achieve a major milestone as SAS passengers will be able to visit exciting locations in South Africa and Brazil for the first time. Through this codeshare expansion, SAS passengers may now easily book tickets to Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa as well as Salvador de Bahia and Fortaleza in Brazil.

These developments strengthen the alliance between SAS and Air France-KLM and provide additional opportunities for travelling through Europe and beyond.

Expanding Global Connectivity

The current codeshare agreement, which already covers many European destinations and routes to and from Tokyo, is strengthened by this most recent expansion.

SAS Chief Commercial Officer Paul Verhagen said:

“Our partnership with Air France-KLM continues to unlock new opportunities for our travellers, and we are thrilled to now offer our customer a trip to Fortaleza and Salvador de Bahia for the first time ever; this is just the beginning. Our list of codeshare destinations will continue to grow, enhancing connectivity and convenience for both SAS’ and our partners’ customers.”

SAS now provides even more connectivity between Scandinavia and important international locations, such as Rio de Janeiro, Sāo Paulo, and several other major Brazilian cities, as well as Bangkok and Osaka in Asia, through this improved partnership. The inclusion of Johannesburg and Cape Town strengthens SAS’s standing as a top option for tourists wishing to travel freely and conveniently.

This growth demonstrates SAS’ dedication to giving its customers unmatched worldwide access and reaffirms its position as a major force in international aviation. As SAS continues to expand its reach, passengers can now anticipate even more convenient and flawless flying alternatives.
