Busiest International Flight Routes

As travelling starts to pick up again after the pandemic, the Hong Kong (HKG) -Taipei (TPE) route climbed from ranking third in 2023 to first place with increased travellers, as Taipei remains one of the city’s favourite short-trip destinations.

The flight between Cairo (CAI) and Jeddah(JED) ranks second this year, with 5.5 million seats.

Seven out of the 10 top-ranking international flight routes are from the Asian region, while the cross-Atlantic flight from New York (JFK) to London (LHR), with 4 million seats, ranks 10th.

Read here to learn more about Changi Airport (SIN) and why it is so popular among travellers.
