A VietjetAir Airbus A320-200 has suffered fuel system problems while climbing out of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Vietjet aircraft stopped climbing at 11,000 feet while crew received indications of a fuel system error. The crew decided to return to the airport, and passengers were instructed to assume the brace position for landing. The aircraft landed safely back in Ho Chi Minh City about 30 minutes after departure.

The aircraft’s track, including the position of the incident.

A replacement aircraft (Airbus A321-200 registration VN-A645) reached Hanoi with a delay of about 3 hours.
