Cathay Pacific A350 Lightning Strike

A Cathay Pacific Airbus A350-900, registration B-LRK performing flight CX-227 from Hong Kong (China) to Copenhagen (Denmark), was on approach to Copenhagen’s runway 04L when the aircraft received a lightning strike. The aircraft continued for a safe landing.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight, the return flight was cancelled. The aircraft returned to service the following day after about 31 hours on the ground.
