The features of the Air Canada mobile app

At the World Aviation Festival, the judges commended the Air Canada mobile app for streamlining the travel experience from booking to arrival and including helpful contextual information.

As such, the Air Canada mobile app helps anticipated the next steps in the passenger’s travel journey by including travel directions and incorporating customer feedback.

Recently, as per 2026, the airline has added enhancements to improve the app. These include re-designed bag tracking, boarding passes, check-in and flight status. Customers can be linked to Air Canada’s urban hubs within the country with directions to their next gate. Other additions include a new low fare calendar with airfare comparison tools as well as baggage allowances before booking. There are also options to thank airline staff members with the new Bravo button, highlighting the need to meet customer requirements.

The airline’s commitment to digital products is part of a more intuitive travel experience. The mobile app has been downloaded over 23 million times, building on the airline’s digital infrastructure.
