Emirates has raised its weekly services between Kolkata and Dubai from 11 to 12 and deployed its Airbus A350-900 on the route, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) said on Oct. 25. The move comes as demand for international air travel grows and can strengthen access to Emirates’ international network through Dubai.

A350 Replaces the B777 on Daily Flights
Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) welcomed the aircraft with a ceremonial water cannon salute on Oct. 25 to mark its introduction on the route. The A350-900 now operates the daily EK570 and EK571 services, replacing the Boeing 777-300ER, as part of Emirates’ winter 2026 schedule.
The extra weekly flight is on EK572 and EK573, which operate five times a week with a four-class retrofitted Boeing 777. Emirates has said Premium Economy will be available on all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai.

More A350 Flying Across the Network
Kolkata airport director Vikram Singh said the A350 and the additional weekly service reflect rising demand for international travel. He congratulated the Emirates team and passengers and said the expansion would strengthen international connectivity from eastern India. The extra flight gives passengers another option for business trips and holidays.
Separately, Emirates will deploy the A350 on its daily EK709 and EK710 service between Dubai and Mauritius from Nov. 1, replacing the Boeing 777 on that flight. The airline also operates two daily A380 services to the island, so the A350 will fly one of three daily Dubai-Mauritius flights.
