As part of their commitment to deepen engagement across East Asia, Tourism Seychelles hosted a workshop for key industry stakeholders in Seoul, South Korea, on Monday, June 9th at the Lotte Hotel.

Trade and Media Workshop in Seoul
The workshop was led by Manager for the South East Asian Markets, Mrs. Amid Jovanovic-Desir, and Marketing Executive for Tourism Seychelles, Mrs. Said Mussard. Attendees, including media representatives, airline partners, and travel agencies, were treated to a presentation showcasing the wide range of tourism opportunities across both islands. The presentation highlighted luxury resorts and provided an opportunity for exclusive experiences within the beauty of this honeymoon hotspot. Mrs. Jovanovic-Desir reiterated:
“This workshop is part of our effort to establish a stronger foothold and long-term visibility in South Korea.”
To add a splash of culture, guests received a tasting of the country’s iconic spirit Takamaka rum.

Seychelles is More Than Just A Honeymoon Destination
Seychelles is recognised as a hotspot for honeymooners, but Tourism Seychelles used this event to present it as a versatile destination for families, nature lovers, and adventurers.
“From world-class diving and fly fishing to scenic hiking, golf, and deep-sea fishing, the destination offers something for every type of traveler.”
The islands contain something for every type of travel-goer, packed with rich marine life, picturesque hikes, and beaches full of tortoises, this should be at the top of your travel bucket-list. Tourism Seychelles is dedicated to promoting the beauty of the islands cultures – whether it’s food and drink, water sports, or once in a lifetime adventures, they have inspiration for it all. They continue their commitment to enhancing destination awareness and broadening the demographic of tourists through focused outreach, especially in South Korea.
