TAP Air Portugal and Revolut’s New Partnership Offers Seamless Payments

On 15th August, 2025, TAP Air Portugal announced its partnership with Revolut. This collaboration is set to introduce RevolutPay as a secure one-click checkout option for TAP Air Portugal’s customers across the UK and Portugal.

TAP Air Portugal is the world’s leading airline, which operates between Europe and Brazil. TAP operates more than 1,250 weekly flights to 85 cities in 30 countries. Alongside this, Travellers can earn up to 10 times more RevPoints on Purchases in TAP Air Portugal’s special booster campaign, ending 12 September 2025.

On the occasion of this new partnership, João Frias, Head of Payment Strategy and Fraud Prevention, TAP Air Portugal, said:  

“We are constantly focused on enhancing our customers’ experience at every stage of their journey and the payment moment is a key part of that. This partnership with Revolut allows us to offer a fast, secure, and modern payment option, while reinforcing our digital innovation strategy. With Revolut Pay, we are simplifying the booking process and delivering greater convenience to our passengers.”

What is Revolut Offering?

Revolut Pay offers its customers the opportunity to earn RevPoints, Revolut’s loyalty program that rewards customers. In addition to this, Revolut has also offered its customers to earn up to 10 times more RevPoints on their purchases, which can be redeemed for airmiles, stays and more.

On their new Partnership with TAP Air Portugal, Alex Codina, General Manager of Acquiring at Revolut, said,  “We are incredibly excited to partner with TAP Air Portugal, a carrier that shares our commitment to innovation and enhancing the customer experience. In the travel sector, payment processes can often be inconvenient. Our goal with Revolut Pay is to simplify this, making it as seamless and secure as possible for travellers to book their flights. This partnership with TAP Air Portugal allows us to build the future of payments in the industry together.”
