The Scottish airline company Loganair announced then extending of its list of top travel destinations, focusing on connections to Northwest Ireland.
The newest Loganair routes to Northwest Ireland in the summer of 2024
The most awaited Loganair routes are expanding from Glasgow to Donegal Airport, located in Carrickfinn, Kincasslagh; Donegal County’s beautiful seascapes make it a unique destination for travellers interested in exploring Northern Ireland – Loganair marks itself as the first airline currently offering connecting flights between the UK and Northwest Ireland.
Loganair airline history is remarkable, with numerous accomplishments and seamless connectivity to destinations worldwide. Loganair previously operated flights at Donegal Airport in 1990; unfortunately, they ceased operations in 2021 to recover from the pandemic and focus on other popular destinations with higher demand. The route from Glasgow started again in 2023, allowing more travellers discover the beauty of Northwest Ireland than ever before.
Loganair plans to begin its summer flight service on May 19, operating three weekly flights to Donegal Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and it aims to expand the route to four flights a week starting July. The route has plans to continue during the winter and the expected flights are scheduled to operate on Fridays and Sundays.
When travellers decide to book with Loganair, the airline offers all their fares with a 15 kg baggage allowance and in-flight refreshments. There are also current benefits and discounts for children aged 11 or under, so all families can enjoy the incredible holiday.

Eilís Docherty, Managing Director, Donegal Airport, explained the high demand on the route of Glasgow-Donegal according to passenger increased numbers of the previous summer of 2023, delightful with Loganair announcement of the frequency of flights for 2024.
