Two Tournaments Set for December

The FIFA Arab Cup 2025 will run 1–18 December, featuring 16 national teams from across the Arab world. Matches will be held in several World Cup 2022 stadiums as the region competes for the title.

Immediately following, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025 is scheduled for 10–17 December, bringing together continental champions for the final global football event of the year.

Qatar, which hosted the 2022 World Cup and the 2021 Arab Cup, is positioning the events as part of its growing portfolio of international sporting competitions.

What the Travel Packages Include

The airline’s packages, sold through Qatar Airways Holidays, offer:

  • Return Qatar Airways flights to Doha

  • A choice of four- or five-star hotel accommodation

  • Match tickets in category 1 or 2 seating

  • Optional airport transfers and event-mobility add-ons

  • Extra bookable activities such as city tours and desert excursions

Members of the airline’s Privilege Club can earn Avios and Qpoints on the flights and on the total package value, and have the option to reduce costs using Cash + Avios.

Steven Reynolds, senior vice president of Discover Qatar and Qatar Airways Holidays, said the offerings are intended to streamline planning for supporters and encourage tourism during the winter period.

Qatar Prepares for Peak Tourism Month

December is typically one of Qatar’s busiest travel periods, helped by mild weather and major events. Fans attending the tournaments will also have access to the country’s popular attractions, including Lusail Boulevard, Souq Waqif, the Corniche waterfront and several national museums.

Both tournaments are expected to draw international crowds as Qatar continues to promote itself as a hub for sporting events in the Middle East.

Packages can be booked through Qatar Airways Holidays’ dedicated tournament pages.
