It was recently announced that a new partnership between travel agency TUI and Ryanair Airlines had been established. TUI and Ryanair partnership aims to bring several benefits to TUI customers.
TUI and Ryanair Partnership Starting in 2024
On February 15th, Ryanair announced a partnership with the travel agency TUI; as a partner, TUI will introduce Ryanair flights in its personalised flight packages. Ryanair imposes conditions on TUI to benefit travelers: not overcharging customers for Ryanair products is one important aspect conducted by Ryanair.
Among other benefits, with an additional one million flights per year, Ryanair’s fantastic flights and destinations will be available to TUI customers, with the opportunity to be purchased directly with the TUI agency or alternatively online- travellers will have the opportunity to have a wider choice of destinations than before.
The partnership between TUI and Ryanair makes the step of strengthening the “First Choice” brand, a travel agency subsidiary of the TUI Group, which has been available in the UK since September. First Choice offers travellers personalised holidays according to their preferences and interests, including various activities and a range of hotel choices; with a growth of 2.5 million last year in the number of TUI packaged trips, the partnership has in prospect to contribute to the expansion of services for travellers.
TUI and Ryanair Partnership to Stop Unauthorised Online Travel Agencies
The new partnership between TUI and Ryanair is also a form to prevent unauthorised online travel agencies.
Pirates continue to mislead travellers by fake customer contact and payment information to Ryanair, according to Ryanair’s statement.
Dara Brady, head of digital marketing for Ryanair explained: “The deal imposed separates TUI from the OTA Pirates who scam consumers by illegally data scraping Ryanair’s website and try mis-selling our flights with hidden “mark-ups” and overcharges.”
TUI and Ryanair partnership will bring excellent benefits to travellers; real prices, flexible payment plans, and ATOL-protected packages will improve the traveller’s trust in booking flight packages.
TUI Packages with flights provided by Ryanair will be available soon in the coming weeks, with the opportunity to combine TUI hotels with Ryanair flights.
“The partnership with TUI will allow TUI customers to book Ryanair flights, seats, and bags as part of their holiday package, guaranteeing the full price transparency of Ryanair products, travelers will receive information regarding their flight directly from Ryanair, with booking direct access in their myRyanair account.” explained clearly Dara Brady.
