About the Altitude Film Fest

Are you a filmmaker who loves Portuguese and wants your work to be presented on the in-flight entertainment system on TAP’s long-haul aircraft? Here is an opportunity that might interest you!

The Altitude Film Fest is an on-board film festival to celebrate international cinema at 30,000 feet. It offers an opportunity for worldwide filmmakers to submit fiction or documentary. The panel from the film industry will then select 10 finalists and announce them by Jul 28.

The selected files will be available on TAP’s long-haul flights in the upcoming Oct. The travellers will vote for two awards, including Best Fiction Film and Best Documentary Film. The result will be a combination of the passengers’ votes (60%) and the judging panel’s (40%).

The winner will receive a travel grant worth €1,500 (£1,124), and an awards ceremony will take place in Lisbon on Nov 5, World Cinema Day.
